Lady A are coming to the UK! Thanks to Lisa for news that Lady Antebellum is to play two dates in the UK in July 2012 - 15th at Manchester o2 and 16th at the Hammersmith Apollo in London. For those of you who are country music fans, this is big news indeed! Weekend Away Gill from 2 Left Feet has emailed me to say that there's a weekend away in Weston super Mare that she is organising. It's on 20th April (to 22nd) at Dauncey's hotel (which has sea views). Cost is £95 pp for 2n DBB and Gill says there's no single supplements. Bargain! Gill will be teaching two workshops and has also arranged an entertainer for the Saturday night. Let me know if you are interested. Live, Local Country Music Glen Rogers - who is really famous in UK Country Music - is coming to Frampton Cotterell! Date is Friday 16th March, 8pm. Venue is the British Legion Hall, Ryecroft Road. £5 on the door. There's a bar and some food available, they are also doing a raffle. Western Wear is optional (!) and there will be a dance floor for line dancing and partner dancing. I think it looks great and I hope to be there - it would be amazing if you could join me!
